The Organization

The International Network on Small Hydro Power (IN-SHP) is a non-profit international coordinating and promoting organization for the global development of small hydro power, which is established on the basis of voluntary participation of regional, sub-regional and national focal points, relevant institutions, utilities and enterprises and with social benefit as its major objective.

The Network consists of the Coordinating Committee, the Headquarters Office (International Center of Small Hydropower) and different types of members. In order to provide better services to our members, we have several institutes, such as the National Association of Medium/Small Hydropower Equipment Manufacturers and three model bases, which are affiliated to the IC-SHP.
