400 Counties Electrification Program

Due to the great benefits of rural electrification and Small Hydro Power, the State Council retified the SHP Rural Electrification Construction Plan. Until 2005, some 70 billion RMB will be invested into about 8000MW of additional capacity to electrify 400 counties throught China. IN--SHP mainly provides information about oversea electricity industry deregulation, and carries out policy research and consultation.
