On May 11, sponsored by the Ministry of Water Resources and United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the International Center on Small Hydro Power hosted the fifth "Hydropower For Today Forum" in Hangzhou. 2009 International Network on Small Hydro Power Coordinating Committee was Held on 12th, May

On May 12, the International Network on Small Hydro Power Coordinating Committee held 2009 annual meeting, on which the members summarized 2008 work and discussed the work plan for 2009-2010, as well as elected the new Coordinating Committee members. Mr. Hu Siyi, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Honorary Chairman of the International Network on Small Hydro Power chaired this meeting. Mr. Pradeep Monga, the Representative from UNIDO delivered a speech.
