With the strong support of the G77 Group, the Chinese Government and the Zimbabwe Ministry of Energy, the SHP workshop for southern African countries will be held in Harare, Zimbabwe in November 28~29, 2005. PowerMate International, which also functions as the sub-center of International Center on Small Hydropower in Africa, is in charge of organizing this workshop. It is expected about 30 participants from Zimbabwe and surrounding countries will be present at the workshop. The International Center on Small Hydro Power will send resources and personnel for the workshop.
