On December 4th, 2024, International Center on Small Hydro Power (ICSHP) and Hangzhou Renewable Energy Association jointly held a seminar for Zhejiang new energy enterprises on “Going Abroad to Expand Markets”. Mr. Zhao Yonghong, Secretary General of Hangzhou Renewable Energy Association, presided over the seminar. Mr. Xu Jincai, Director General of ICSHP attended and delivered a speech. More than 30 new energy enterprises and related service consulting institutions in Zhejiang province attended the seminar to discuss the strategies for “going abroad in groups”.
Mr. Xu introduced ICSHP’s exploration and practices in developing bilateral and multilateral technical cooperation, capacity building, project demonstration and standard internationalization in the field of renewable energy by giving full play to its advantages as an international organization. He noted that global renewable energy will enter a period of rapid growth in the coming years. China has the world’s largest and most complete new energy industry chain, which can not only support domestic demand for new energy transformation and development, but also contribute to global sustainable development. As the first international organization headquartered in China, ICSHP has established extensive networks both domestically and internationally. Mr. Xu highlighted that Zhejiang enterprises have a strong tradition of exploration, innovation, mutual trust and win-win cooperation. Resource sharing can provide important guarantees for enterprises expanding into overseas markets and achieving common development.
Hangzhou Photovoltaic Association shared information about photovoltaic early warning systems and plans for building related service platforms. Zhejiang AI·BESS Technology Co., Ltd. presented on technical demands and development trends in overseas new energy markets, as well as their international development experience. Representatives from Hangzhou SEBE Intellectual Property Service Co., Ltd., HSBC Bank (China) Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Port Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang International Trade Exhibition Co., Ltd., etc., delivered speeches on identifying, preventing and controlling intellectual property risks in overseas new energy markets, financial support for international expansion of new energy enterprises, optimization strategies and practical guidelines for international logistics of new energy products, and strategies for improving the effectiveness of overseas exhibitions for new energy enterprises. Secretary General Zhao Yonghong proposed establishing a strategic alliance as the next step to integrate reliable and superior resources and support new energy enterprises in their international expansion.
