Hangzhou, 21 July 2025 - Asian Development Bank (ADB) delegation visited the International Center on Small Hydropower (ICSHP). The two parties held discussions on matters related to ADB’s technical assistance project, and reached a consensus on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

During the discussion, Mr. Zhang Lei, Head of Project Administration Unit, Energy Sector Office, Sectors Departments 1 of ADB, outlined ADB’s history, operations, and strategic shift, highlighting its flagship energy projects. Dr. Xu Jincai, DG of ICSHP, presented ICSHP’s core work in technology innovation, standardization and international cooperation, and proposed avenues for deeper collaboration. Both parties held in-depth exchanges on the MoU, laying a solid groundwork for future implementation.

This visit also included a technical tour to the ICSHP Green Hydropower Demonstration Zone in Lishui, Zhejiang.

Representatives of the International Liaison Division and Domestic Affairs Division, ICSHP attended the activities.
