ICSHP has successfully carried out some typical projects including Lighting-up Rural Africa, Scaling-up Development of Small Hydropower，China-Zambia-Ghana Renewable Energy Technology Transfer Project，World Small Hydro Power Development Report, Hydro Power for Today Forum, Small Hydropower Technical Guidelines for demonstration and promotion of SHP globally.
The project of Scaling-up Development of Small Hydropower carried out by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Center on Small Hydro Power (ICSHP) aims to support the scaling-up development of small hydropower in five countries including Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, and Peru, by providing technical assistance, conducting feasibility studies, and developing investment plans within the framework of inclusive and sustainable industrial development (ISID).
