World Small Hydropower Development Report, co-founded by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and ICSHP since 2010, is a flagship initiative for global small hydropower and a comprehensive reference publication for decision-makers, stakeholders and potential investors, which aims to promote small hydropower as a renewable and rural energy source for sustainable development. It is renewed triennially.
WSHPDR2022
The World Small Hydropower Development Report 2022 (WSHPDR2022), as the fourth edition, contains 20 regional chapters, 166 country chapters, 12 case studies, 3 thematic publications as well as a global database of existing and planned SHP plants. The current edition of the Report aims not only to provide an update on the SHP status by country but also to expand on the first three editions by providing improvements in data accuracy with enhanced analysis and a more comprehensive overview of the sector by country.
